Boswinkel, Yannick (Dr.)
Yannick Boswinkel (Schiedam 1987) started his archaeological education in 2009 at the Faculty of Archaeology, Leiden University. He completed the two-year research master ‘Town and Country in the Mediterranean and the Near East’, cum laude in 2015. In 2016 he started his PhD project in the SETinSTONE project, led by Prof. dr. Ann Brysbaert at the Faculty of Archaeology, Leiden University. The study into the investment required for large scale fortifications in Mycenaean Greece, was finished in four years. Within the same period, Yannick was also head of the Faculty Council at the same institute for two years (2017-2019) and an editor for the journal INTER-SECTION for three years (2016-2019). After finishing his PhD, Yannick gained a position as a project manager with an engineering firm, Econsultancy.
Boter, Babs (Dr.)
Babs Boter is Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Humanities, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Her research and teaching focus on life writing, travel writing and Diaspora Studies. She is initiator and convenor of the international expert group Unhinging the National Framework: Platform for the Study of Life Writing and Transnationalism.
Bouma, N.
Niels Bouma is senior archaeologist and works as project manager at ADC ArcheoProjecten (2007 until present). He was involved in numerous developer-led projects in the Netherlands and Belgium including the Dalfsen site.
Bourgeois, Quentin (Dr.)
Quentin performed his PhD study within the research project Ancestral Mounds.In his research he dealt with groups of barrows and their position within the landscape. Through extensive GIS-analyses he attempted to shed some light on the choice of location for the placement of the burial monuments. Why were they placed there, what could be seen from that location, and how did this develop through time?

Since 2009, Jeroen Bouwmeester has been employed by the Cultural Heritage Agency as a senior researcher of medieval and early-modern cities. He studied the archaeology of Northwest Europe at VU University in Amsterdam.
Brady, Niall (Dr.)
Niall Brady is the founding director of the Archaeological Diving Company, Ireland’s premier maritime archaeological consultancy, and between 2002 and 2010 he was project director of the Discovery Programme’s Medieval Rural Settlement Project. Main research fields: landscape archaeology, medieval settlement, agrarian economy and technology, maritime archaeology, industrial archaeology.
Braun, Holger (Dr.)
Although Dr. Holger Braun (b 1973) originally qualified as an architect, he has been fascinated by the art of New Guinea ever since he was introduced to it by a teacher when he was only 8 years old. This fascination eventually resulted in a doctorate in cultural anthropology and art history at Heidelberg University and the publication of his first book, Zwischensphären (‘Interspheres: The Structure of Cult and Art in South New Guinea‘, 2013), an in-depth examination of mythology, cult and art in South New Guinea.
In his second book The Secret Signs in South New Guinea Art he applies this innovative theoretical framework to enable readers to see the definitive icons of South New Guinea art in a new light by revealing the symbolic meaning of their design in accordance to their use in the great secret cults that dominated pre-contact societies and still exercise considerable power today.
