Biezeveld, Irini (Dr.)
Irini Biezeveld is a curator of archaeology at the Drents Museum, Assen. She wrote her PhD at the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main, Germany within the joint research project on abandoned mudbrick settlements in Central Oman, funded by the Gerda Henkel Foundation (2020-2022).
Bis-Worch, Christiane MA (MA)
Specialized in medieval and post-medieval archaeology, Christiane Bis-Worch (1966) is curator of the department for medieval and post-medieval archaeology at the Centre national de recherché archéologique (CNRA) since 2004. Her missions include, among others, the archaeological investigations on site and the dispatching of the obtained scientific results in the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg.
Bistáková, Alena
Alena Bistáková is Researcher at the Archaeological Institute of the Slovak Academy of Sciences in Nitra. Her main interests are material culture studies, settlement structures and burial rite of Neolithic and Copper Age periods in Central Europe. She has conducted archaeological fieldwork in Slovakia. She has worked on projects in Central Europe, covering the Neolithic to the Bronze Age and archaeological practices and knowledge work in the digital environment. She is part of the Vráble project since 2018.
Bjørnevad-Ahlqvist, Mathias (Dr.)
Mathias Bjørnevad-Ahlqvist is a researcher specialising in ritualised practices of the Mesolithic and Neolithic. He has particularly focused on interdisciplinary and biographical approaches to hoarding. Furthermore, he has published on heritage-related issues with Native American and First Nation objects in Danish museums, and he has worked as Research Assistant on the DFF-funded Deep Histories of Migration project, which assessed the connectivity across Northern Europe in the Early Neolithic based on the statistical analyses of ritual practices.
Blackwell, Alice E. (Dr.)
Alice Blackwell is Senior Curator of Medieval archaeology & history at National Museums Scotland and works on the material culture of the early, central and later middle ages. She has co-authored several books – Early Medieval Scotland: Individuals, Communities and Ideas (2012) and Scotland’s early silver (2017) which developed from a special exhibition she jointly curated in Edinburgh. She also edited Scotland in early Medieval Europe (2018).
Blanco-González, Antonio (Dr.)
Antonio Blanco-González is a tenured senior lecturer in Prehistory working at the University of Salamanca (Spain). He has previously developed his research as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellow at Durham University (United Kingdom) and as a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Valladolid (Spain). He has published numerous contributions in the most prestigious journals (Antiquity, Journal of World Prehistory, Cambridge Archaeological Journal, Oxford Journal of Archaeology, Journal of Social Archaeology, Quaternary Science Reviews, etc.) on later prehistoric Iberia and social archaeology applying multi-proxy strategies.

Ivo Blom is lecturer of film and media studies at the Dept of Comparative Arts and Media Studies (Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam). He specializes in the comparison between cinema and art, but also early cinema, Italian cinema, Antiquity films and film distribution.
